Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)

VISION:

To emerge as a premier center of learning in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with scientific quest having focus on professional ethics and human values.

MISSION:

DM 1: Provide academic environment conducive for high quality learning in Electrical and Electronics Engineering to ensure our graduates have successful careers.

DM 2: Strengthen industry institute interaction to enable the students work on real time problems and encourage them to engage in lifelong learning.

DM 3: Ensure that our students are well trained to work in a team with professional ethics and apply latest tools for the solution of engineering problems.

An SRIT graduate in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, after three to four years of graduation will:

PEO 1: Have successful careers in any organization or excel in higher education programs.

PEO 2: Be successful professionals with ethical values and capable of working in multi disciplinary areas in a team to solve real life problems in broad societal context.

PEO 3: Practice lifelong learning with good scientific and engineering breadth so as to comprehend, analyze and design solutions for the real life problems.

PO’s & PSO’s

PO 1: Engineering Knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.

PO 2: Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.

PO 3: Design / Development Of Solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

PO 4: Conduct Investigations Of Complex Problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.

PO 5: Modern Tool Usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.

PO 6: The Engineer And Society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.

PO 7: Environment And Sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.

PO 8: Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.

At the end of the B. Tech program in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, the graduate will be able to:

PSO 1: Understand the design, operation and control of systems for the generation, transmission, distribution and utilization of electric power.

1N. V. PRUTHVI RAJ 2013-2017 batch student out has got job in Tejas Networks with a package of 12 Lakhs Per Annum.
2Mr. M. Mallikarjuna nominated by the District Collector of Ananthapuramu, as a resource person to train the mandal level revenue officers regarding the Aadhar Enabled Fair Price shop Automation.
3Mr. P. Praneel Kumar, Asst. Professor, Dept. of CSE has been invited by Dist.Collector as a resource person for Big Data, Cloud Computing and Social Networks as part of IOT Workshop at District Training center, Ananthapuramu organized by District Collectorate, Ananthapuramu on 6th January, 2017.
4Dr. T. Hitendra Sarma has visited Vancouver to present his paper in the Joint Conference on Neural Networks, World Congress on Computational Intelligence during 24-30 July 2016.

Vasavi of III B.Tech (Computer Science & Engieering) got first prize for her classical dance performance at the state level NSS youth festival – 2018 conducted in SV University, Tirupathi, A.P on February 26-27, 2018. She received the memento and appreciation letter from Sri. R. Gokula Krishna, Regional Director, NSS, Sri. P. Ramachandra, AP state NSS officer respectively.

Hitendra Sarma had received OUTSTANDING CHAPTER award from CIS (Computational Intelligence Society) of IEEE .i.e. WCCI (World Congress on Computational intelligence) organized at Rio De Janerio,Brazil during July 8th-13th,2018. He presented paper on A tunable particle swarm size optimization for feature selection at WCCI-CEC(Competition on Evolutionary Computing)conference.
13Mr.C.Sudheer Kumar participated in NPTEL SPOC workshop conducted on 14 July 2018 at IC & SR Auditorium, IIT Madras, Chennai.
14Dr. T. Hitendra Sarma, was Invited to delivery a Talk on – Prototype based hybrid techniques to Speed up k-means and kernel k-means clustering methods for large datasets – at the third International Conference on Fuzzy Sets and Data Mining (FSDM)-2016, National Dong Hwa University, Heulian, Taiwan, 24-27 Nov 2017.
